Sunset Restaurant in Stratdroy

Not impressesed at all with the food ,place or diffinitly the people !!Food order is never correct , and refuses to fix it when its wrong..been in a few times and always is the same issues waiter/waitress are very rude. Was there today ,and they treated my daughter i and very rude , we left without ordering due to how bad the service was.will never be going back! !! I Do not recommend you to go there , go to roys a much more pleasant place ,better prices and the people are so very kind!! Sunset is the worst place ever!!

Great home fries! I’ve tried a few breakfast places in Strathroy but they definitely serve the best home fries here. Hours aren’t great though, don’t open until 10 during the week, but breakfast is all day. Very beautiful inside as well!

Service was alright to began once food came she started disappearing out the back she didn't bring the bread that was with one of the dishes and they tried to charge $.60 for thimble of mayonnaise and there wasn't even any mayonnaise on the sandwich to begin with everything seemed out of a can from the soup to the tomato sauce there was two pieces mushroom in the whole bowl of cream of mushroom soup and no beef pieces in the beef barley soup would not eat here again seems to be a senior citizen type food

Excellent food and sevice

Not bad except they lost our bill so the food took three times as long as normal to come out. They also used a full slice of Kraft cheese in the omelet instead of shredded. Probably not going back.

This place is okay if you're really hungry and like eating salty gravy and dried out roast beef for $20 a plate

One of my most favourite restaurants in Strathroy! The staff make you feel like welcome family. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!!! Family owned and operated with service like it used to be in the good o'l days!!! Thank you Sunset!

First time dining here, service was fast and the food was good for the price. Casual dining, perfect for a fly buy sit down lunch. Good selection of food for all ages.

Great breakfast spot!

It amazes me that a 'restaurant' can't make breakfast.Bacon was low quality and deep fried. Home fries were old and mealy tasting.Eggs weren't cool right.But at least it was expensive.

Over priced and not that great will never come back Tim Hortons food is better and cheaper

Very friendly staff and nice clean restaurant but I just cannot stand fake chicken! It tastes so aweful and the tomatoes we're not fresh or something they tasted bad as well. Great seasoning on the chicken, olive oil was delicious and greens were fresh! But because of the chicken I at least won't have anything with chicken again.

Went tonight for takeout, food was alright, people were friendly they forgot condiments was very disappointing when I called and couldn't find them

Went for breakfast on a Sunday, around 11. Service was fast, but the food was mediocre and there was a very limited breakfasts menu. No fresh fruit available, just basic eggs, toast, pancakes & french toast. Decor is nostalgic but bathrooms are old and out of date with no handicap stall or baby change station.

Rather snobby service. Home fries with breakfast were yummy; 8 on my plate, 2 on the husband's, when we bought it to her attention, she was less than pleased and asked if we wanted to buy a side of homefries.I won't come back

This restaurant is popular with older people, perhaps because it has a seniors' menu. The food is consistent, so that if you find a favourite it'll be the same next time you order it.
